Why can't I connect?

Server Restarts

  • We automatically restart our server every single night for performance and updates. Restarts last anywhere from 30 seconds to ten minutes and do not affect player progress in any way.

Client Version

  • You are on an outdated or too-updated version of Minecraft. Please get in touch with support if you are not sure.

Downtime or Maintenance

  • While this does not happen often, sometimes we are down for maintenance. This means our server is temporally un-join-able. Usually, we would clarify this when you attempt to join the server, and we would always announce it on our Discord.

Solutions to Resolve Connection Issues:

We aim to make DandyCraft as stable as possible; however, it can sometimes be out of our control. The following are some suggestions so you can try to troubleshoot this issue:

Staff

How to become a Staff Member

You can submit an application for staff on our Forum. Everyone starts as a Helper, and you can later be promoted to higher ranks.

What does a Staff Member do?

There are different types of staff members. Helper - A helper’s primary focus is to ensure chat is being monitored. This is both for ensuring players' questions are being answered, and chat violations are being handled. They also make sure players are following all the rules Moderator Rank - Moderators do everything Helpers do. The only thing different is they have more abilities. Moderators handle all billing issues, such as someone not receiving the rank they purchased or any other issues with their purchase. Admin Rank - Admins help assist with the server, the community, the overall staff team, and anything else!

How can I increase my chances of getting staff?

You can apply various methods that will automatically increase your chances of becoming a staff member. Here are some tips we would like to share with you:

  • Have a good reputation with the staff team and community.

  • Have a clean punishment record.

  • Support the server by purchasing goods in our store.

  • Having a good playtime amount.

  • Being mature and professional.

  • Being a part of the community for some time before applying.

How can I write a well-written staff application?

Here are some of the best possible tips for writing a fantastic staff application.

  • Be honest and do not lie in your application. This will start you off poorly.

  • Always make sure you are using proper grammar and punctuation. Use entire sentences and have detail in your application to make it stand out.

  • Have previous staff experience on other Minecraft servers and provide proof.

  • Include how you are dedicated to the server, your activity, reputation, teamwork skills, and anything else you feel like sharing with us.

Are staff paid?

The staff team is made up of volunteers who volunteer their time to help keep the DandyCraft community safe and thriving. While you get special perks and bonuses as a staff member, it is primarily a volunteer position. Unfortunately, no Minecraft servers can pay staff members due to the costs and type of job it is.

Where do you host giveaways?

We host giveaways on our social media, forum, and often on our Discord server.

How can I get my lost item back?

We are sorry you lost one of your item(s) in-game. If you lost it due to a bug, please get in touch with support, and we will do our best to assist you from there in getting your items returned to you. However, if you lost your items and it was not due to a bug. Unfortunately, we won't be able to help you.

How to get unbanned?

You have two ways of getting unbanned if you are caught breaking our rules. The first way to get unbanned is to wait for the duration of your ban. The second method would be to post a thread on our forum. So that you know, doing this does not guarantee to become unbanned. We review each situation on a case-by-case basis.

How do I avoid getting banned?

While we strongly dislike having to punish and even ban some users. Sometimes we have to if they violate our server rules. Our server rules can be found here. Please be familiar with our rules and be sure never to break them to avoid possibly becoming banned.

How to report a bug?

How do I contact support?

We use Tickets.

Once you select the type of ticket you need, your support ticket will open, and you can explain to us the issue you are facing.

We aim to reply within 24 hours at a maximum, usually much faster.

Billing issues

We appreciate your support, and we apologize in advance if you have any issues. If you did not receive your purchase after waiting 15 minutes, please contact support. We will be happy to assist you.
